Back to School Bootcamp (1st- 7th grade)
If you’re looking for a little back to school brain boost for your kiddos, we’ve got you covered!! During this awesome week we will be putting a lot of fun into learning fundamental reading, writing and math skills. This is a great way to get your child ready for a great school year!

Beginner Art (Ages 5-10)
Students will create projects and learn to use tools for a variety of mediums! Since each session is unique and we don't duplicate projects, students can expect a fun-filled week as we focus on cultivating and developing students' personal artistic talents and creative potentials, and helping them express their inspirations and imaginations in their art projects. Students will enjoy painting, drawing, shading and more as they learn a variety of ways to create their works of art! Students will build their confidence and ability all while learning to enjoy the process of creating art.

Beginning Crochet (Ages 9-13)
Beginners Crochet Camp will introduce students to the craft of crochet, starting with the basics. We will learn about the tools and materials we'll need to crochet, learn how to get started with crochet, and learn some fundamental stitches and techniques that will allow learners to create their own crocheted items. Students will be inspired to create their own designs and writing patterns to bring their imagined creations to life. Students will finish the class with some of their own tools and yarn to have to continue practicing their skills at home.

Beginner Jewelry Making (Ages 7-13)
In this one week camp, students will get to learn a variety of ways to make jewelry. From seed beads, to wire wrapping, to creating faux clay beads, designing their own beads and more, the creativity will be endless! Students will be equipped with tools to create their own masterpieces outside of class along with a full understanding on how to create bracelets, necklaces, rings and earrings.

Crafty Creations (Ages 7-13)
Come join the fun! This class has it all for our crafty creator. From beading, to stain glass, cross stitch, friendship bracelets, sand art and so much more... This camp has it all! Each day there will be a new theme and new craft options to explore and create. If your child enjoys working with their hands and crafting this camp is sure to please.

Creative Writing (Ages 10-15)
Our Creative Writing camp will focus on drawing out the inner author in YOU! Whether you are a bookworm or think you don’t like to write, you will leave Creative Writing camp with the passion to put your imagination on paper through writing! Camp attendees will learn how to organize ideas, journal, write short stories and MORE! YOU will be the creator, designer and author of the NEXT BEST SELLER!

Dramatic Play (Ages 5-9)
Dramatic play is one of our favorite forms of play-based learning. It encourages large motor, fine motor and extensive vocabulary development. Your young ones will be pretending to be a chef in a restaurant, a veterinarian caring for pets or a firefighter spraying out the fire. Each week your child will get to actively play in a dramatic scene as well as have Sensory Bin time that is themed each week. Play is the foundation for all other learning!

Dyslexia Reading I (Ages 5-8)
A unique approach to teaching foundational reading fluency and comprehension skills for children with Dyslexia utilizing the Orton Gillingham Program. We will spend this week together focusing on building confidence and the fluency skills needed to be a master reader. This camp is perfect for children ages 5-8.
Session 1 Theme: A Week at the Beach
We are heading to the beach! Just imagine sand, sun, and so much fun learning and growing our reading skills while riding the waves. This week will be filled with buckets of fun...
Session 2 Theme: Digging for Dinos - Join us for a week of exploration and adventure as we dig for dinos! It will take skill to read the ancient maps and discover where to dig. Be prepared to get a little dirty and have a whole lot of fun as we use our reading skills to dig for dinos.
Session 5 Theme: Shipwrecked!
This week’s dyslexia camp will take us on an adventure exploring the treasures aboard an old Pirate's Ship!!! Join us as we dive into the ins and outs of readings greatest treasures, this is one mystery we are sure to solve. Join us for a week of adventure and fun.

Harry Potter Adventures (Ages 7-11)
In this literary adventure camp based on J.K. Rowling’s best-selling children’s novels, campers will be transported (perhaps using floo powder or a portkey) out of the muggle world and into the wizarding world. The adventure commences with each camper’s own acceptance letter and once the witches and wizards arrive they will be sorted into their house...Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Slytherin, or Hufflepuff. The campers will attend classes in Potions, Care of Magical Creatures, Herbology, Defense Against the Dark Arts, and Transfiguration. Science, writing, art, and a bit of theater will be included throughout the week. Leave your muggle past behind you and prepare for a spell-tacular experience.

Kitchen Kids (Ages 9-13)
Kitchen Kids gives our tweens the independence and confidence to write and follow recipes, problem solve, and create dishes with pantry and refrigerator staples while learning to prepare healthy snacks for themselves and their families. Kids will come home at the end of the week with a self made recipe book full of their favorite snacks they have made throughout the week.

Executive Functioning (Ages 10-15)
Does your child struggle with planning and organization? Time management, study skills, focus, task initiation, or completion?
If so, this camp is the camp for them! Join us for an intensive on week camp where we focus on learning more about how we learn best, study skills, note taking strategies, organizational methods, and how to fuel our brain for success. This class is best suited for children ages 10 and up.

Finding Your Inner Superhero Camp (Ages 7-11)
Superheroes are strong, they are confident, and they are ready to tackle whatever life throws at them. In this week long camp we are going to explore the attributes and the ways that some of our favorite superheroes have saved the day... and then we are going to create our own personal superhero. We will design our own cape, our shield and armor to protect us from the negativity of the world, while writing our own comic strip story of truth. This camp is perfect for girls and boys who are looking for a fun and creative way to build confidence.

Literacy Camp (Ages 6-9)
The Literacy Camp is where kids LOVE reading & writing – even if they never have before! Avoid summer learning loss with valuable reading instruction delivered in an "oh so FUN" way! We're going to enjoy reading different genres of stories. With each story, different reading and comprehension skills are practiced to engage the students.

Legos Wars (Ages 5-10)
On your mark, get set, BUILD! Do you have a young engineer who loves to build? LEGO Camp is the perfect fit for you! LEGOs are some of the best hands-on tools for education. Our LEGO Camp includes Daily Building Challenges based off of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) Activities, games that incorporate the building challenges as well as prizes for the most innovative designs. Our goal is to provide a space for creativity to grow through a ton of fun! Building with LEGO's is an excellent way for students to develop fine motor skills, problem solve, gain confidence in their abilities and learn about how things work! This is not a “HOW TO BUILD” Camp, instead it is a camp of imagination and creativity where emphasis is placed on presenting a challenge and supporting the student in figuring out their own way to solve it.

Math Ninjas (Ages 8-12)
Sharpen your math skills and bring your competition! In Math Ninja we will be growing our confidence in multiplication, division and more! Students will learn tips, tricks and strategies on how to approach and solve problems with confidence and better understanding. This class also fulfills HB4545 requirements.

Hand Lettering (Ages 10-15)
Want to learn how to personalize items with beautiful penmanship? In this class learn techniques that allow you to improve your penmanship to fancy Hand Lettering which is all the rage now. Students will practice journaling and personalizing items as they work on strokes and lines, a variety of pens and other mediums. Students will leave with tools that will allow them to continue practicing and lettering at home as well.

Natural Homemade's (7-13)
In this class, we will be focusing on how to make homemade goodies that can be enjoyed personally, or made for gifts. In our week of Natural Homemades, students will learn how to make candles 3 different ways, they will learn how to make body scrubs, lip scrubs, bath bombs, room sprays, and more! All item will be made out of natural environmentally friendly ingredients.

Public Speaking (Ages 10-15)
Join our Public Speaking camp specifically designed for kids ages 10-15! Students will learn to conquer stage fright, improve presentations, enhance their communication skills, and how to have a healthy debate all while having fun. Confidence will be built through interactive activities and feedback with the group.

Reptiles and Bugs (Ages 5-10)
Join us for a fun filled summer camp to learn about reptiles & bugs. Mrs. Dallhoff is a Texas Science teacher who loves bearded dragons and raising reptile feeder insects. Students will learn about proper husbandry for various types of reptiles and the life cycles of many interesting bugs. Mrs. Dallhoff will be bringing many critters to interact with and enjoy.

Science Kids: Energy and Motion (Ages 5-10)
Get ready for an awesome adventure into the world of energy and motion. In this class, we'll uncover the cool secrets behind how things move and the amazing ways energy works. We'll learn about forces that make things go. Ever wondered why a ball bounces or why a rocket flies? We'll find out together by doing fun experiments and playing with cool gadgets! Join us for an exciting journey where science is all about movement, fun discoveries, and making our world a better place!

Social Skills (Ages 7-13)
During our Social Skills Camp, our goal is to help each child increase social interaction, social awareness, and self confidence through games and guided therapeutic instruction. Social skills focuses on practicing many different skills such as: making eye contact, initiating interactions such as play or conversation, taking turns, understanding other people’s body language such as facial expressions, understanding and expressing emotions as well as friendship building.

STEM/Indoor PE (Ages 5-10)
During this camp, students will be given tasks to build things incorporating problem solving, friction, speed and more, then use their creations to incorporate physical movent and teamwork. Learning how to work together to create, build and compete together.

Stop Motion (Ages 10-15)
Stop motion animation is an exciting and creative form of animation that students will explore in this elective. It is similar to a flipbook, where objects are photographed and manipulated in each frame to create the illusion of movement. In this course, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of the stop-motion animation process. They will have the opportunity to bring their own ideas to life by designing and constructing their very own stop-motion animation puppets. With their puppets in hand, students will learn how to animate them by carefully manipulating their movements in split-second increments. This interactive and hands-on experience will allow students to express their artistic abilities while enhancing their understanding of animation techniques. Get ready to bring inanimate objects to life and create captivating stories through the magic of stop-motion animation!

VBS (Grades K-1)
Come join us at Breaker Rock Beach VBS for grades K-7th Grade.
K-4th Grade we will challenge kids to recognize the difference between the lies (or half-truths) of culture and God's unchanging truth.
Adventure awaits each day as kids explore tide-pools, spot orcas, fly kites, and watch the mighty waves crash up against the immoveable Breaker Rock!
